A brief update on life:
- I think I may have fallen in love with the PICU last night. I had a shift there from 10:30 PM - 6:15 AM and found myself fascinated the entire time. The more I reflect on the experience, the more I realize that I enjoyed it SO much.
- I got to attempt to start my first IV at about 1:30 AM. I barely missed it...but I when it ended up taking 4 other nursese to get the stick, I felt better.
- I'm learning about Mother-to-Child Transmission for a research project in my AIDS in Africa class.
- I'm still hunting for books online for the semester. Yay saving money!!
- I'm learning all about searching large quantities of data for specific information at work. Kinda cool.
- I think it's going to rain here today - can you say EXCITING? Yes, exciting.
- I may be going country line dancing on Saturday night. hahaha
But yes - I'm alive, just attempting to figure out the schedule these first couple of weeks. I promise I haven't literally dropped off of the face of the earth. I've been using my computer less because I'm hardly in my room and when I am, I take advantage of sleeping. =)
